Pokemon Go Shiny Meltan Event. From Tuesday November 17 2020 at 800 am. Event-exclusive Field Research tasks will reward encounters with Pokemon like Slowpoke and more.
Pokemon GO players will be able to take part in an event that features Meltan Slowpoke and Mega Pidgeot in addition to new avatar items and raids. Pokemon Gos second Lunar New Year event shines the spotlight on Meltan the rare mythical Pokemon thats exclusive to the mobile game. Niantic note that Shiny Meltan will go back into hiding once the Home event is over so trainers will have to wait for this creature to appear again.
PST certain Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild hatching from Eggs and featured as Raid Bosses.
The Pokemon Home event will begin tomorrow Tuesday November 17th at 8am and will continue until Monday November 23rd at 10pm. Once the event is over trainers wont be able to catch a Shiny Meltan until another event in the future. It seems these Shiny Meltan will go back into hiding after this event is over.
